when it was our last day camping out in the bush my friends and i discovered that there was a bush that was really rare because there wasn’t that much bushes around because it was actually a huge forest it looked so amazing it had the smell of chocolate and strawberries on the outside it looked just like a stinky old bush

camp bentson

Last week on Tuesday the 15th of November 2016  all the year 6s from pt england school went to camp bentson When we arrived i looked around and all i saw was a beautiful island called Kawau Island.

When we got to the island the first thing we had to do was unload the ferry. Once we had done that we went on our hike up the mountains. As I was walking up the hill my lungs were burning. When we stopped for a rest we were at a beach called smelcha bay with a little park. Some of us skimmed rocks and then we had lunch. After that we had to leave and head back to camp.

Once we got back from our hike we got to set up our cabins once we set up our cabins we got to have free time with some sports gear.

Then the next day we woke up at 6.00 clock in the morning and go for our morning run it wasn't like the hike it was much shorter and when we go back we were allowed to have a little free time. But then it was time for breakfast for breakfast we had cereale and hot food with milo. Once we finished breakfast we had to get ready for our first activity for the day.

My team's first activity was Kayaking. When we were out kayaking we got to go out so far I was starting to get scared. My arms were so sore of paddling. As we were paddling some of us saw stingrays. But they didn't attack us they just quietly passed us . When they passed through I was so happy that I got to see some stingrays But sadly we had to go back to the campsite.

 

I really loved camping at Kawau island this year I really hope I can go again.

The bush

One Day a boy named Ash went out to the back of a bush to a lake to catch some fish for his family but well he was out fishing he was attacked by a crocodile that was resting by the river.

As soon as he saw the crocodile he took of into the bushes but when he was going into the bushes he saw something shiny like a crystal so he went into the bush when he was in the bush all he could see was mountains of bushes and water flowing down.

But for some reason the crocodile didn’t come in.

Well he was in the garden of bushes he felt something it felt like magic. So he decided he would stay till the next morning.

But something strange happened that night for some reason he felt like someone was watching him from a distance so he went closer to that person and closer until whatever was behind the bush jumped out and gave him a heart attacked he thought it might be a monster but it was just a bunny so he went back onto his bush bed and it was so cosy.

he quickly fell asleep and woke up the next morning and set of back to home but when he arrived at the bushes that led out they were burned down so he had no idea of how to get back to the other side somehow someone made it into the garden and found another way out if they could get out so could I so he searched the whole island but nothing no Exit until someone found him but this someone was his garand father somehow he must of found his way here a long time ago

And his garand father said i know a way out but i need someone strong enough to push it open like you sonnyboy' then what are we waiting for let's go.

olympic sport in Rio

Did you know about fencing? It’s not when you put up fences around houses and buildings. fencing is an Olympic sport with a metal plastic swords. In the modern Olympics  they had fencing as well as know. fencing is a game with two people each person wears a protective suit. In 1924 women were able to join and compete in fencing.

2:In fencing you never ever point at someone without a mask on because you might poke someone’s eye out. The rules are you have to hit the other person 12 times to be able to win.         

Conclusion

The Olympic games are being held in Rio,Brazil this year and I hope that New Zealand wins most of this year's medals.

In the first week of the Holiday’s my Family and I spring cleaned the house and after that my Mum gave  my Brother my Sister and I $50 dollars and took us to Sylvia park and we got whatever we want but my Brother and I didn't get anything all we got was hot dog and a smoothie after that my Sister Jordin wanted to go to Smiggles and buy stationery stuff well my Sister was in Smiggles my Brother and I went to toy world and looked at some nerf guns but we didn't get a nerf gun because they were too expensive so my Brother and I went back to my Mum and Dad when we got back we went home.           

Olympic history

Hook: Do you know about the Ancient olympic Games? The Olympic Games began in 776 BC in Olympia.  There was only one event and that was the 200 yard dash. It was only men that competed in the nude.The Olympics was a religious festival in honor of Zeus and they celebrate every  four years.

In 391 AD Rome invaded Greece. Two years later Rome abolished the games.

In 1896 a French man  re-started the Olympic games in Athens, Greece.four years later In 1936 first olympics television then it became world wide event. And the Frenchman formed a committee the international Olympic committee or ioc for short and it was made to protect the Olympics.

         

The Olympic games are being held in Rio Brazil 2016 and I hope that New Zealand win’s most of this year's event’s.

A hero is a person who protects those who cannot protect himself or herself.  A hero is someone that saves people from ice berks people drawing or falling of a building and that is what a superhero is.

 

My everyday hero is my mum because she always takes care of me. Like the time when I broke my leg. My mum took me to the doctors and made sure everything was alright . Or when i’m in pain she puts sudocream on it and straps it up herself.

My mum is a hero because she always make sure that there is food on the table and in the cupboard.

That’s why my mum is my hero.

In episode 2 of Suzie and the space nuts.  Suzie and Freeble went to school and Freeble. Dressed up as a human and followed Suzie to school when Suzie saw Freeble she freaked out. And Freeble had to hand out the books but instead of handing them out he eat them.

I think what is going to happen in episode 3. Is that maybe a evil doctor took  the spaceship  to examined the alien technology and become the ruler of the world.

Suzie lives with her parents and  must have a brother name Billy, who gets into trouble for breaking things.

While Suzie was feeding her alien friends, Billy must have snucked out of bed and entered the spaceship without anyone looking. Then Billy started playing around with the controls and pushed the big colorful button that caused the spaceship to blast off into space with him in it before Suzie and her alien friends came back to the ship.

lehi Holday highlight

In the first week of the Holiday me and my family went to the Sylvia park Hoyts at 3.o’clock. We watched Allegiant. My favorite part of the movie was when they made it to the Greenland. I got to pay for myself because I won a movie voucher from dojo points in Miss West’s maths class and Simon came second.

On the second week of the holiday I went to red rats and got new shoes and new clothes. After that we went to Mcdonalds and had ice cream. my Mum had the big boss burger and I had some of my mum’s burger. It was so delicious.

Fiafia  2016!!!

Fiafia is when we perform dances and items from other countries. We have fiafia every two years. Fiafia is all about having fun and  showing other people what you can do.

There were 18 groups . My group for fiafia was Jump jam. we had to wear glow sticks and glow in the dark face paint but it didn't really glow in the dark. We also wore black clothes.

Also the jump jam was after the little maori group. My favourite item was the Tongan warriors because there item had a cool song and a matching dance. And next time we have fiafia I want to be in the circus circus.

Captain Morgan Adams was a tyrant a pirate bent on causing mayhem and havoc.
